This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to work with students in the Denver area, supporting communication development and helping children reach their fullest potential.

Applicants should be skilled in providing speech therapy services in school environments and ready to collaborate closely with educators and families. You'll handle a dynamic caseload—likely mild to moderate, with specific details provided prior to assignment—and play an integral role in each student's educational journey.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university
  • Active Colorado Department of Education certification
  • Active Colorado SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist for birth through age 21)
  • Experience in school settings supporting diverse student populations is desired
  • Successful completion of a background check through the district website is required

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for K–12 students with speech and language challenges
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions, monitor student progress, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and family members
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver services onsite at district campuses (no teletherapy; in-person only)
  • Manage caseloads as assigned, with school and age group to be determined
