Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to students from kindergarten through high school with mild to moderate needs
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans that support communication and academic growth
  • Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and monitor student progress in line with district and state guidelines
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards while supporting a positive, inclusive school culture

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Colorado Department of Education Certification
  • Active Colorado SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Therapist, or Speech Connectionist covering ages birth through 21)
  • Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting is highly valued
  • Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting per district policies

Additional Details:

  • Begin as soon as credentialing is completed and continue through late May 2027
  • Serve one supportive school community, focusing your impact and avoiding travel between sites
  • Work a predictable part-time schedule of 14-15 hours weekly across two consistent days
