Bring your expertise to a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity supporting early childhood learners in a dynamic educational setting near Johnstown, CO. This contract position begins in August 2026 and continues through May 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. You’ll provide essential in-person support to a caseload of 50-55 students, making a real impact on their communication and language development.

Your expertise will go beyond direct therapy—you’ll also supervise a talented SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant). While fully in-person candidates are preferred, there’s openness to a hybrid arrangement for those with the ability to supervise at least three days onsite each week. This role provides the perfect blend of clinical and leadership responsibilities for seasoned SLP professionals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLP State License and Educator Certificate
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for early childhood intervention
  • Previous supervision experience is highly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy services to early childhood students
  • Oversee and support SLPA to ensure effective intervention delivery
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with educators and families
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
