Key Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) Certification
- Active Colorado SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist for ages birth–21)
- Experience working in schools with students who have mild to moderate speech/language needs preferred
- Must successfully complete district-required background check and fingerprinting
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to design and implement effective communication interventions
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for eligibility and ongoing services
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Work onsite at Vega Collegiate Academy, engaging in a dynamic, student-centered environment
