Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) Certification
  • Current Colorado SLP License (acceptable designations include Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist; ages birth to 21)
  • Familiarity with educational settings and diverse student populations
  • Must complete background check and fingerprint clearance as required by the district

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with mild to moderate needs
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and recommend appropriate interventions
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with district standards
  • Consult and communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a supportive learning culture
