Key Qualifications:
- Minimum Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) Certification
- Current Colorado SLP License (acceptable designations include Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist; ages birth to 21)
- Familiarity with educational settings and diverse student populations
- Must complete background check and fingerprint clearance as required by the district
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with mild to moderate needs
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and recommend appropriate interventions
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with district standards
- Consult and communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a supportive learning culture
