Job Description
Begin your next adventure as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist and make a meaningful impact on students in the greater Denver area. This is a full-time, onsite contract role spanning the school year, with the opportunity to support learners ranging from early childhood through adolescence. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated educational team and play a pivotal role in helping students with mild to moderate speech and language needs thrive both in and out of the classroom.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Colorado Department of Education certification
- Active Colorado SLP license; accepted licensure includes Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist for ages birth through 21
- School-based or pediatric therapy experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a student-focused approach
- Successful completion of district background check requirements
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver evaluations, develop and implement individualized therapy, and document progress for students with speech and language needs
- Manage a caseload across one or more schools (final assignment details forthcoming), expected to be primarily mild to moderate cases
- Contribute to IEP meetings, collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive therapeutic environment
