Job Description

Make a significant impact on students’ educational journeys through a rewarding opportunity serving as a School Psychologist across two welcoming elementary environments. This part-time, contract role allows you to apply your expertise in a supportive educational setting and enjoy a balanced, focused workweek. The position is based near Monument, CO, and involves working 8 hours (one day) weekly at two different elementary schools—one in Parker and one in Franktown.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Proven experience conducting assessments and evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Knowledge of educational laws, regulations, and best practices in school psychology
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to adapt assessments and interventions to students’ diverse needs
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage caseloads between two campuses

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive special education assessments for referred students, interpreting results to guide educational planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support interventions and student programming
  • Prepare and maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in eligibility determination meetings and provide clear, concise assessment reports
  • Travel between Parker and Franktown elementary locations as scheduled
  • Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for students of all backgrounds
