If you’re passionate about supporting student well-being and making a difference in a vibrant educational environment, this full-time, onsite opportunity awaits you for the 2024-2027 school years! Work with elementary-aged students, collaborating onsite with a dynamic team at two school locations. You’ll be part of a thoughtful, two-step interview process, first with special education leadership and then with the school principal. This contract role offers the potential to work alongside dedicated professionals and support a caseload of roughly 40 students.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Hold a current 'Professional Special Services License' via the Colorado Department of Education (or have applied if relocating/traveling)
  • Strong background in school psychology, with the ability to articulate expertise and skillset during interviews
  • Energetic and positive demeanor—able to connect with students, families, and colleagues
  • Experience handling a caseload of similar size is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness and preparedness for onsite-only work for the full assignment duration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and support students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to develop and implement intervention strategies
  • Conduct evaluations and participate in IEP meetings
  • Facilitate social-emotional skill-building for students
  • Document and monitor student progress
  • Maintain compliance with relevant state and federal guidelines
