Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license (or eligibility) in Alabama
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous school-based SLP experience desirable
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Provide regular progress reports and documentation in line with school policies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
