School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Wetumpka, Alabama

Step into a dynamic, school-based role supporting students’ communication and learning needs throughout the academic year. We are seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide both therapy and comprehensive evaluations in a vibrant and collaborative educational environment. Multiple positions are available, with manageable caseloads (not to exceed 60 students) across several schools. Service delivery is entirely onsite and spans a range of elementary and secondary campuses.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Alabama Educator SLP Certificate (active or eligibility to start pending full approval)
• Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering positive, supportive learning environments
• Flexibility to work across multiple campuses as assigned

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students according to IEPs
• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify communication needs
• Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Navigate multiple school assignments, managing time and priorities effectively
