Key Qualifications:

• Current, valid Michigan Physical Therapy license (please provide a screenshot for verification)
• Previous experience working in school environments required
• Able to work onsite; remote and assistant positions (PTA) not available for this assignment
• Comfortable collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach for diverse learners

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students participating in a center-based program, tailored to those with moderate to severe disabilities
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans as part of students’ IEPs
• Document progress, collaborate with teachers and support staff, and participate in team meetings
• Provide consultation and training for educational staff on mobility, positioning, and adaptive equipment as needed
• Manage a diverse caseload of students ages K–26, promoting optimal access and independence within the school setting
