This is a full-time opportunity offering 35 hours per week, spanning the school year from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027. The role focuses exclusively on providing physical therapy—PTAs are not considered for this position—and requires onsite presence throughout the assignment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physical Therapy (PT) license for the state of Michigan (please provide a screenshot of licensure upon application)
• Prior school-based physical therapy experience
• Expertise in developing and implementing individualized PT programs for a diverse student population
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families
• Experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and design individualized physical therapy plans tailored for students with varying needs
• Deliver direct therapy services, monitor progress, and adjust interventions to maximize student achievement in motor skills and physical functioning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
• Document all sessions, evaluations, and progress in compliance with school protocols and state regulatory standards
• Provide training and resources to staff and families to facilitate student development and carryover of therapy strategies
