School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Albion, Michigan

Step into a dynamic role supporting PreK and Kindergarten students as a School-based SLP for the upcoming academic year. This contract position offers up to 40 hours per week, with flexible options for full-time or part-time scheduling and a hybrid setup—though the majority of hours will be onsite. Assignments will be finalized in late August for a start in late August and continue through early June. Candidates must be available for onsite work; fully remote arrangements are not being considered at this time. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and support staff to provide speech and language services, ensuring every student has the foundation they need for success.

Qualifications:

• Valid, active Michigan SLP license required (please submit a screenshot of licensure with your application)
• Certification as an SLP-CCC preferred
• Relevant experience in schools, particularly with PreK and Kindergarten populations
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments, developing and implementing IEPs
• Providing direct therapy services to students
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs
• Maintaining detailed records and progress notes
• Participating in professional meetings and trainings as needed
