School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Albion, Michigan

Make an impact in early childhood education as a Speech-Language Pathologist, serving PreK and Kindergarten students for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity spans from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, offering up to 40 hours per week in a dynamic, supportive learning environment. What We’re Looking For:

• Current, active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in Michigan (must submit a screenshot of your valid license with your application)
• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working with PreK and Kindergarten populations is highly desirable
• Ability to adapt service delivery in a school setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to work onsite, with hybrid days as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide direct/indirect speech therapy services to early learners
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Provide consultation and education to staff and families
• Participate in assignment planning and orientation prior to student caseload determination
