Skills & Credentials:

• Active Michigan SLP license, with current SLP-CCC certification required
• Prior experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of the needs of both general and special education students aged K-12
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
• Ability to design and implement evidence-based therapy targeting a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as indicated in IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring using standardized assessment tools
• Develop and adjust individualized plans based on student needs and progress data
• Maintain thorough and timely records in accordance with school and state requirements
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and serve as a resource for staff regarding speech/language development
