A rewarding contract opportunity is open for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is based onsite, providing services to a diverse K-12 caseload and making a meaningful impact alongside educational teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required
- Experience providing SLP services in a school setting preferred
- SLP-CF candidates are not eligible at this time
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfort working with students across K-12 grade levels
- Ability to work full time (37.5 hours per week); open to considering part-time schedules for well-qualified candidates
- Onsite work is required; virtual arrangements are not available
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and document services in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs within the K-12 population
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to generalize speech and language skills across school environments
- Participate actively in team meetings and professional development sessions
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere
