Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but supervision is available for strong CFY candidates
  • Experience working in a K-12 educational setting is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Able to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, teachers, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with diverse needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Offer consultation and support to teachers and families regarding strategies and accommodations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and school-based initiatives
