Step into a rewarding contract role supporting young learners and their families in a thriving educational environment near Eden Prairie, MN. This unique opportunity focuses on Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). Embrace a varied schedule where your skills will make a meaningful difference in both home and classroom settings.

Role Highlights:

  • Contribute 75% of your time as an ECSE SLP
  • Dedicate .5 FTE to conducting Initial Part C evaluations, including home visits—flexibility in scheduling is a must
  • Spend .25 FTE supporting a preschool classroom, collaborating with teachers and specialists
  • Engage closely with birth-to-three (B-3) families, providing early intervention support
  • Anticipated hours are weekdays from 9am to 3pm, leaving your evenings free

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Prior experience in school-based settings, with a strong preference for work with B-3 families
  • Knowledge of initial Part C evaluation procedures and early intervention practices
  • Comfort and professionalism when conducting home visits in family settings
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and team orientation

What You’ll Do:

  • Administer and interpret language and speech assessments for early childhood students
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and therapy sessions
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Foster positive, empowering relationships with students, caregivers, and educational partners
  • Maintain detailed records, documentation, and compliance with relevant guidelines
