An opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric services is available within an elementary school setting in Willmar, MN. This full-time onsite contract position involves managing a caseload of approximately 17-20 students, ranging from Pre-K through 5th grade. The role demands expertise in school-based speech therapy and pediatric language development, with a focus on delivering telespeech and direct therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Utilize telespeech technology alongside in-person sessions to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy within school or healthcare environments
- Proficiency with telespeech methods in educational settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
