Occupational Therapist School Setting - Eden Prairie, MN

Travel occupational therapy professionals are invited to apply for several contract openings for the upcoming school year. These roles offer the chance to provide essential support and therapeutic interventions in collaborative educational environments near Eden Prairie, MN.

Available assignments include leave coverage and full-year options, each tailored to various student populations and schedules:

Opportunities:

• Leave Coverage (North Education Center): August 31st – approx. November 13th; 32 hours/week, 4 days/week. Serve students in Setting IV special education programs.
• Leave Coverage (South Education Center): September 21st – January 4th (excluding winter break); 40 hours/week, 5 days/week. Provide OT services for students receiving Setting IV special education support.
• Full School Year (Split Locations): 20 hours/week, details split between two campuses. Serve students with diverse placement needs, including Setting IV supports and general special education.
• Full-Time Opening (Pending): Additional opportunity awaiting district confirmation.

Qualifications:

• Active OT license, with experience in school-based practice required
• Ability to navigate varying assignments and multiple sites as needed
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators and families
• Reliable transportation for travel between assigned schools
• Compliance with agency onboarding and district background screenings
• Candidates with prior district placements must be in good standing

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students with diverse needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including IEP participation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize student engagement and inclusion
• Adapt services according to individual student goals and program requirements
• Support a positive school climate through professional and empathetic interactions
