Key Qualifications:

  • Current TX Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Previous experience in school settings, with strong knowledge of SLP best practices
  • Capable of conducting thorough assessments, planning interventions, and managing caseloads
  • Bilingual proficiency or experience working with bilingual students is highly valued
  • Comfortable working onsite in an educational environment
  • Organized, with excellent communication and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Carry out speech and language evaluations for primarily elementary and some middle school students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Manage a diverse caseload, balancing monolingual and bilingual students’ needs
  • Provide case management and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Occasionally deliver direct speech therapy if needed
  • Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documents and reports
