Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a speech-language pathologist in an elementary school setting. This in-person, contract opportunity focuses on providing essential speech and language services to students in PreK3 through 3rd grade. You’ll work closely with a caseload of about 60 students with mild to moderate disabilities, developing and implementing individualized plans that spark communication growth and student success.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current, valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required)
  • Prior school-based experience is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of mild to moderate disabilities
  • Comfort working with early childhood and primary grade students
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in PreK3-3rd grade
  • Conduct assessments to determine student needs and eligibility
  • Develop and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Track and document student progress in accordance with school and district standards
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide expertise on student communication needs
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory guidelines
