Step into a pivotal role where your expertise as an Occupational Therapist can make a lasting difference for high school students with diverse and complex needs. This contract opportunity, starting August 11, 2026 and running through May 26, 2027, offers a meaningful way to advance your career while supporting students in grades 9-12. With a manageable caseload of approximately 18 students, you’ll provide direct services and collaborate closely with dedicated educators, shaping student experiences and outcomes throughout the academic year.

Hours are consistent—Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:00pm—offering you stability and the ability to truly invest in each student’s progress. Step into a supportive environment that values your skillset and the positive impact you bring every day.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure to practice Occupational Therapy
  • Prior experience working in a school setting, preferably with high school-aged students
  • Solid understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and best practices for supporting students with complex needs
  • Strong collaborative skills for partnering with special education teams, teachers, and families
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to high school students (grades 9-12)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans based on student needs and IEP goals
  • Assess student progress and document outcomes, making data-driven adjustments as needed
  • Provide expertise and resources to teachers and support staff
  • Support inclusive practices and contribute to a positive school environment
