Special Education Teacher - New Oxford, Pennsylvania

Make an impact as a Special Education Teacher in a vibrant learning center environment, supporting students’ growth and development in specialized classrooms. Two dedicated educators are needed for full-time, onsite roles starting as soon as clearances and initial trainings are complete. You’ll work Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, shaping young lives and collaborating with passionate colleagues.

Key qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania teaching certificate in Special Education
• Experience working in Autism Support or similar settings preferred
• Thorough understanding of IEPs, differentiated instruction, and evidence-based practices
• Ability to adapt strategies to meet individualized student needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Willingness to complete Pennsylvania clearances and pre-assigned trainings promptly

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, personalized instruction in Autism Support rooms (assignments may be adjusted as needed)
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Communicate regularly with families, support staff, and specialists
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation and growth
• Support social, emotional, and academic development of all students in your care
