Make a genuine impact by supporting students’ emotional, behavioral, and academic growth within a dynamic educational environment. You’ll provide comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health services to those with the most intensive social and behavioral needs, collaborating with educators and families to develop actionable plans that foster student success. Your expertise will be instrumental in early intervention and data-driven problem-solving, helping to create a more inclusive and supportive school culture.

What you bring:

  • Valid school psychologist certification/licensure
  • Proven experience with behavioral and counseling interventions
  • Strong foundation in trauma-informed practices
  • Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
  • Ability to complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop/monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Experience supporting Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
  • Skill in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
  • Involvement in crisis response, IEP, Section 504 processes, and student transition planning
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver individual and small group counseling
  • Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
  • Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments to inform targeted interventions
  • Assist in developing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Support MTSS and consult with educators and family members
  • Take part in IEP and Section 504 meetings
  • Aid in crisis response, safety planning, and student transitions back to their home schools
  • Champion trauma-informed, data-driven approaches to boost student regulation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

This full-time contract offers a meaningful opportunity to advance specialized student services in a supportive setting near Hilton Head Island, SC. You’ll work a standard 37.5-hour week, earning between $85.00 and $88.00 per hour, with the satisfaction of knowing your work makes a tangible difference for students and their families.
