Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a Paraprofessional, with multiple contract openings available for the 2026-2027 academic year. These roles are based in a vibrant elementary school setting, where dedicated staff work closely to help every child thrive. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial part in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

We are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill three roles: one Center-Based position and two Resource/Setting 1 & 2 positions. Setting 1/2 roles typically involve supporting different grade levels throughout the morning and afternoon, ensuring diverse and meaningful interactions with students. All paraprofessionals must be comfortable assisting with toileting as part of daily support duties.

Key Qualifications:

  • Meet Minnesota’s Highly Qualified Paraprofessional requirements by:
    • Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam, or
    • Providing an official transcript showing at least 60 college credits (diplomas or degree images are not accepted)
  • Submit a current resume and proof of meeting the above qualifications for consideration
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and patient approach to supporting student learning and care
  • Experience in educational settings, especially with special education, is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work 32.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday (hours: 9:10 AM – 4:10 PM)
  • Support individual and small group instruction across various grade levels
  • Provide assistance with classroom activities and help maintain a safe, supportive atmosphere
  • Offer personal care support, including toileting, as needed
