This contract opportunity is designed for skilled professionals who are already fully onboarded and ready to contribute with minimal delay. You’ll be working one-on-one in a Special Education setting, providing tailored support that empowers students and enriches their school experience.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Fully completed onboarding process and active in Bullhorn
- Demonstrated, extensive experience working in Special Education (SPED) classrooms
- Proven skills in supporting individual students as a paraprofessional
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Availability to begin within 3 business days of signed contract, with an ideal start date of Tuesday, August 25th
Role Responsibilities:
- Support a designated student in a 1:1 capacity throughout the school day
- Collaborate with lead teachers and other educational professionals to implement IEP goals and classroom plans
- Foster an inclusive, respectful, and positive learning environment tailored to student needs
- Track and report progress and challenges to instructional teams
- Assist with classroom and campus activities as needed, maintaining a focus on student engagement and well-being
This assignment offers the chance to support student growth, work regular school day hours (8am-3pm), and contribute meaningfully to a dedicated educational team.
