Physical Therapist - School Setting in Rochelle, IL

Desired Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation requirements
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt therapy plans based on student needs and school objectives

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students per individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Develop and implement creative, evidence-based treatment plans to support student participation in school activities
• Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings for eligibility and progress review
• Educate staff and family members on strategies for supporting each student’s goals
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators for holistic student support
