Physical Therapist - School Setting in Hampshire, IL

This onsite, full-time position continues through the school year until May 20, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week where you'll make a direct impact on student well-being and development.

Your day-to-day will be shaped by accessible supervision from experienced professionals in your discipline, ensuring you have guidance and mentorship every step of the way. Upon joining, you’ll be paired with a seasoned colleague through the “Buddy Program,” providing thorough orientation and a built-in support network. You’ll have immediate access to all necessary equipment and testing materials to deliver effective, individualized care.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Understanding of IEP process and compliance
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering student growth and mobility across diverse age groups (K-12)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to students individually and in groups
• Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student's needs
• Document evaluations, progress, and interventions in a timely manner
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to support student success
• Participate in monthly team meetings, regional roundtable discussions, and professional development workshops
• Engage in annual performance reviews and ongoing process improvements to enhance service delivery
