As a part-time Physical Therapist, you’ll work two days per week (.4 FTE) on-site, with flexibility in choosing the days that work best for you. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who enjoy fostering student growth and who excel at collaborating with educational teams.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in Washington state (required)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and innovative approach to therapy
- Ability to create and maintain a structured, engaging environment for students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to determine students’ physical therapy needs within the educational environment
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative PT services for students with a variety of abilities
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as needed
