Make a lasting impact supporting students’ growth and independence in a full-time occupational therapy role within a vibrant educational environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated, student-centered professionals passionate about fostering success across K-12 settings. You’ll provide essential OT services on site, covering a leave for the remainder of the school year, in the Denver area.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid and active Colorado DOE certification as an Occupational Therapist (serving ages birth through 21)
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based OT practice (K-12 experience a plus)
  • Adaptability for working across multiple school sites (assignments TBD)
  • Capacity to build rapport with students and collaborate effectively with educators and families
  • Timely completion of background check requirement upon offer acceptance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive OT services to students with a range of needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assess students’ functional abilities and develop intervention strategies to support participation in school activities
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and service delivery according to district guidelines
  • Flexibly address a range of ages, disabilities, and caseload needs
  • Communicate consistently with teachers and parents, providing strategies for improved educational outcomes
