Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) Certification
  • Valid Colorado SLP License (accepted titles include Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist for ages birth through 21)
  • Experience providing services in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to complete all district credentialing and background checks promptly
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Serve a diverse student population with a caseload likely focused on mild to moderate needs
  • Deliver assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy services to students
  • Regularly document progress and work closely with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Travel between assigned schools (number of sites to be determined)
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district regulations
  • Engage positively with students from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds

This position offers a stable, long-term contract with consistent hours—35 hours weekly during the school year. You’ll work in an environment that values your clinical expertise and dedication, while helping students achieve communication milestones.
