Special Education Teacher - Maple Grove, MN

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Experience or strong interest in Setting 4 or similar high-needs environments
• Demonstrated skills in behavior management and individualized education planning
• Comfortable supporting elementary through high school students with severe and complex disabilities
• Ability to build trust, rapport, and positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support tailored to students with intensive needs, in alignment with IEP goals and district guidelines
• Manage a Setting 4 caseload, providing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
• Collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, therapists, and families to support holistic student growth
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, data collection, and ongoing progress monitoring
• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
• Foster an environment of safety, respect, and high expectations

This role runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027, Monday through Friday, offering a predictable schedule across the school year.
