Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required)
- Proven experience or education in Special Education at the elementary level
- Ability to design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong collaboration skills for working with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Passion for facilitating inclusive, engaging learning opportunities for diverse learners
- Effective communication, organization, and classroom management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction for an elementary resource caseload
- Develop, adapt, and deliver lesson plans tailored to students' unique needs and learning styles
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for each student
- Communicate with families to foster strong partnerships and support student success
- Serve as an advocate and resource for students within the general school environment
