Special Education Teacher - Maple Grove, MN

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required)
• Proven experience or education in Special Education at the elementary level
• Ability to design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong collaboration skills for working with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Passion for facilitating inclusive, engaging learning opportunities for diverse learners
• Effective communication, organization, and classroom management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction for an elementary resource caseload
• Develop, adapt, and deliver lesson plans tailored to students' unique needs and learning styles
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in alignment with IEP goals
• Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for each student
• Communicate with families to foster strong partnerships and support student success
• Serve as an advocate and resource for students within the general school environment
