What you bring to the table:

  • Active Physical Therapist license (Illinois or eligible)
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric/school-based settings
  • Ability to effectively partner with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a growth mindset for working with students across grade levels
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques for students with a wide range of abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to K–12 students in accordance with IEPs and educational goals
  • Utilize accessible equipment and testing materials to evaluate and support student mobility, function, and participation
  • Participate in individualized and collaborative problem-solving, case discussions, and performance reviews
  • Engage in monthly meetings and regional roundtables to exchange ideas and best practices

  • Attend regular 1:1 check-ins with your supervisors and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
