Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across two vibrant school communities near Longmont, CO. This full-time role empowers an Occupational Therapist to make a meaningful difference in the academic and developmental journeys of young learners. With the academic year spanning from August 17, 2026, to May 21, 2027, you’ll provide essential onsite therapy for a diverse caseload in a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapy license required
  • Minimum of one year’s experience working within a classroom or school-based setting
  • Must have, or be actively pursuing, CDE licensure (Colorado Department of Education); resumes must include copy of CDE license/COOL documentation
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload of up to 50 students (25 at each site)
  • Strong communication skills and a demonstrated collaborative approach with educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored occupational therapy services onsite at two schools, fostering student independence and engagement
  • Assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and implement therapy sessions individually and in groups
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting according to district and regulatory guidelines
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings, providing expertise and recommendations to support student success
