Make a meaningful impact as a contract Occupational Therapist supporting students across the Denver area. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week), offering the opportunity to provide essential services on a leave coverage basis throughout a well-established school system. Start as soon as possible and enjoy assignment stability through October 9, 2026.

You’ll work directly onsite with K-12 students in a variety of settings, supporting their development and participation in the educational environment. Specific schools and caseload details will be determined, allowing flexibility and the chance to work with diverse age groups and needs.

Key qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Department of Education Occupational Therapist certification (covering ages birth through 21).
  • Experience or interest in serving school-aged children and adolescents.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students, educators, and families.
  • Dedication to fostering independence and improved quality of life for each student.
  • Timely completion of required background checks after an offer is extended.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive OT assessments and therapy to students with a wide range of abilities and needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, families, and other related service providers to create and implement effective intervention plans.
  • Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings as appropriate.
  • Contribute expertise across various educational environments, adapting interventions to meet individual requirements.
