As a valued school psychologist, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to foster student success both academically and emotionally.
Essential Qualifications:
- At least one year of classroom experience in an educational setting
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license, or currently in process (note: cannot sign TEE)
- Ability to provide a copy of your CDE license or COOL with your application
- Strong interpersonal, assessment, and consultation skills
- Comfortable working full-time hours (35 hours per week, accounting for unpaid lunch) for the full academic calendar
- Passion for supporting student development and advocating for equitable educational practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations and eligibility assessments
- Deliver direct and indirect psychological services per students’ IEPs
- Serve as a key member of multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor educational interventions
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavior management support
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to design strategies for diverse learners
- Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and parent-teacher conferences (as needed)
- Maintain thorough, accurate records in compliance with regulations
