Physical Therapist - School Setting in Orange, NJ

The upcoming school year starts on September 4, 2026, and continues through June 25, 2027. Your daily schedule will follow school hours from 8:30AM to 3:15PM, letting you enjoy consistent weekdays and a balanced work-life routine.

Key Qualifications:

• Possess a current, valid PT license in New Jersey
• Previous experience working with school-based PT (preferred)
• Ability to travel between schools across the district as needed
• Prepared to complete all NJ onboarding requirements, including TB test, physical examination, and fingerprinting for both staffing agency and the district
• Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
• Commitment to supporting K-12 students with personalized, effective care and interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy sessions for students from kindergarten through grade 12
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and support student IEP goals
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in line with school and state standards
• Contribute to a positive school environment by sharing expertise and participating in district-wide PT initiatives
• Adapt techniques and tools to fit the unique needs of students within multiple schools
