Physical Therapist - School Setting in Edison, NJ

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students across multiple schools in a district-wide setting. This full-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference while enhancing your professional skills in an engaging educational environment.

As a key contributor, you’ll work 35 hours per week, with hours from 8:30AM to 3:15PM, starting September 4, 2026, and continuing through June 25, 2027. Your expertise will help students achieve their fullest potential, providing critical support and interventions in a collaborative school environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey
• Previous experience as a school-based Physical Therapist (preferred)
• Ability to work with a diverse K-12 student population
• Skilled in providing individualized physical therapy plans within the educational setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families
• Willingness to secure/complete New Jersey requirements, including TB test, physical examination, and fingerprinting for both the district and agency
• Comfortable participating in Zoom interviews for the hiring process

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services across multiple schools as assigned
• Develop and implement treatment plans to address students’ needs and IEP goals
• Conduct student assessments and document progress
• Provide consultation and training for teachers and other educational staff
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure students’ success
