Key Qualifications Required:

• Must be considered “highly qualified” by one of the following:
  • Successful completion of the MN Para Educator Exam
  • Minimum of 60 college credits; official transcripts required
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Willingness to assist with toileting, as part of comprehensive support
• Strong collaboration skills and adaptability
• Clear, professional resume and appropriate documentation required for candidacy consideration

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom and individual support to students as assigned
• Adapt activities and monitor engagement to promote inclusion
• Work closely with teachers, related service staff, and students across grade levels
• Assist with daily care routines and encourage student independence
• Collaborate in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Foster a nurturing, positive environment for learning and development
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Enjoy working Monday–Friday, 32.5 hours per week, in a school environment dedicated to student success and staff collaboration. Morning and afternoon assignments provide variety as you support different grade levels throughout the day.

Compensation for this contract position is set at $20 per hour, with the option to transition to a permanent district role after 422 contract hours.
