Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist providing long-term substitute coverage in a vibrant educational setting. In this role, you will support young learners ages 3-5 through the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) program, making a lasting impact on student communication and development. This assignment is set to begin September 7, 2026, and will conclude around November 30, 2026. The schedule offers 22.5 hours per week across three days (Monday through Friday), providing a fulfilling balance between professional commitment and personal flexibility.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota SLP license is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working in school-based settings, especially with early childhood or ECSE populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive environments for diverse learners
- Availability for the full 12-week assignment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to children ages 3-5 within the ECSE program
- Assess, develop, and implement IEP goals and treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
- Adapt interventions and support to meet individual student needs
- Uphold confidentiality and compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
