This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated School Psychologist with a strong background in behavioral and counseling interventions. As part of a specialized program focused on students with intensive social, emotional, and behavioral needs, your expertise in trauma-informed practice and data-driven decision-making will make a real difference.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure
• Comprehensive understanding of trauma-informed care
• Strong background in behavioral interventions and counseling
• Experience conducting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
• Skilled in developing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
• Familiarity with MTSS frameworks
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Main responsibilities:

• Provide individual and small-group counseling supporting emotional regulation and problem-solving skills
• Conduct behavioral and psychoeducational evaluations
• Complete FBAs and assist in developing effective BIPs
• Support the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP and Section 504 meetings
• Assist with crisis response and safety planning for students
• Develop transition plans facilitating successful reintegration into home schools
