Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Arden, North Carolina

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacy is seeking a knowledgeable and reliable pharmacist to support their team with per diem coverage, primarily every Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with opportunities for additional shifts and vacation fill-ins. This role requires a dedicated professional to maintain excellent patient care standards and ensure smooth pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and verifying prescriptions accurately
• Checking work completed by pharmacy technicians
• Answering customer and healthcare provider inquiries promptly and professionally
• Counseling patients on medication usage, side effects, and safety
• Administering immunizations, if certified

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
• Immunization certification is a plus or willingness to obtain certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively in a retail pharmacy environment
