Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy environment located in Seymour, IN. This role supports pharmacy operations with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and patient care. The schedule covers Monday through Thursday, 8am to 5pm, and Friday, 8am to 4pm, with a lunch break from 12pm to 1pm. The assignment dates are October 5-9.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare medications and prescription orders for patient collection or delivery.
  • Oversee ordering of pharmacy equipment and supplies.
  • Control and maintain inventory, ensuring proper storage protocols for prescription drugs and controlled substances.
  • Verify prescription details with prescribing healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Maintain an approved list of drugs and controlled substances, verifying expiry dates regularly.
  • Monitor the pharmacy’s product displays, shelving, and overall appearance.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Keep accurate records of inventory, patient data, and insurance claims.
  • Support retail pharmacy operations and provide telepharmacy assistance.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager on staff progress and pharmacy needs.
  • Ensure pharmacy services comply with all state and federal laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Indiana Pharmacist license.
  • Immunization license required.
  • Ability to navigate Liberty RX software.
  • Resume, skills checklist, and professional references required.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
