Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Per Diem Pharmacist position is available to support a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) pharmacy operating under the 340B program. This role is ideal for pharmacists familiar with community health settings who can contribute to efficient pharmacy operations and patient care services.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (lunch break 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
  • Dates: October 5 – 9

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare drugs and prescription orders for collection or delivery accurately and timely.
  • Oversee ordering and management of pharmacy equipment and supplies.
  • Control inventory and ensure best practices in storage of prescription and controlled substances.
  • Verify prescription details with prescribing healthcare professionals when necessary.
  • Maintain current drug and controlled substances lists and monitor expiry dates.
  • Monitor product displays and overall pharmacy appearance to meet standards.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Keep accurate records related to inventory, patient data, and insurance claims.
  • Support retail pharmacy operations and provide telepharmacy assistance.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager regarding staff progress and pharmacy needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Indiana Pharmacist with current immunization certification.
  • Ability to provide a resume, skills checklist, and professional references.
  • Experience with Liberty RX software preferred.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
