Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Bronx, NY

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a per diem pharmacist providing essential medication dispensing and patient care services. This position is based in the Bronx, NY, working within a community retail environment utilizing PioneerRx software.

Shift Schedule:

• Days, 10:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Starting October 1, 2, 5 and additional dates ongoing

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients
• Manage order entry using PioneerRx system
• Provide patient counseling and information concerning prescriptions
• Support immunization services as needed
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare staff to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active, unrestricted New York State Pharmacist License required
• Community/retail pharmacy experience is essential
• PioneerRx software experience strongly preferred
• Immunization certification is a plus
• Spanish fluency beneficial; primary translation support is available through pharmacy technicians
