Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A pharmacy is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to provide support during the week of 8/24 to 8/29 in Glen Allen, VA. This per diem position offers a professional environment with a focused schedule to contribute your expertise.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Lunch break from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Open the pharmacy promptly each day
- Verify prescriptions accurately; pharmacy technicians will handle other dispensing tasks
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and maintain high standards of patient care
Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia pharmacist license
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
This role is ideal for a pharmacist with recent hands-on experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced retail or outpatient environment. The position is available for a set week with the possibility of future per diem opportunities.
