This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to provide essential pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting. The position requires a dedicated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, supporting multiple departments including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inpatient medication orders and ensure accurate dispensing and administration.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication regimens.
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records and comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support pharmacy operations independently during rotating weekend shifts.
  • Utilize Meditech and Omnicell systems for medication management and inventory control.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to work independently, especially on weekends.
  • Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing technology is a plus.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills to support multidisciplinary teams.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • Typical weekday shifts from 7:00 or 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 or 5:00 p.m.
  • Rotating weekends every third weekend, with shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Location:This position is based in a rural hospital setting, serving the Berlin, NH area. Candidates should be prepared for the unique challenges of rural living, including housing considerations.
