A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a small 50-bed hospital in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The schedule consists of five 8-hour day shifts per week, providing a consistent routine for work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
- Consult and collaborate with physicians and nurses on medication management
- Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and dose adjustments
- Utilize IT systems including Cerner and Omnicell for medication distribution and documentation
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Michigan pharmacist license is required
- Prior hospital pharmacy experience is essential
